Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Veramir, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy and Medical Disclaimer. Veramir is operated by Ooboogoo ("we", "us"). You must be at least 16 to use Veramir.

Veramir helps you record how your body feels and reflect your own patterns back to you, with gentle, optional ideas for food, movement, and daily tasks. It is an informational and self-tracking tool. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a medical device. The Medical Disclaimer is part of these terms — please read it.

• Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself and tell us if you suspect misuse.
• Your sensitive health entries are protected by a passphrase and a one-time recovery code that only you hold. If you lose both, that data cannot be recovered by anyone — including us. Storing your recovery code somewhere safe is your responsibility.
• You're responsible for what happens under your account.

When you submit a recipe through "Share a Recipe":

• You confirm it's your own recipe, or your own version of one — not copied from someone else's work.
• You give us permission to edit, adapt (including for dietary and accessibility needs), publish, and credit it on Veramir. You keep ownership of your recipe.
• The free month:if we feature your submission, you earn one free month of any future paid Veramir subscription, applied automatically when subscriptions launch (or added to an existing subscription). One free month per featured recipe; this has no cash value and can't be transferred. We'll notify you at the email you provided.
• We review submissions on our own schedule and may decline any submission at our discretion.

Please don't: misuse or attempt to break the service, probe its security, scrape other people's data, submit content that is unlawful, hateful, or dangerous (including recipes you know to be unsafe), or impersonate others. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

Some equipment or product links on Veramir may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. These are always labelled next to the link. Product recommendations never override safety, allergy, or dietary logic.

The illustrations throughout Veramir — recipe and category artwork — are AI-generatedin the founder's watercolor style, and reviewed by her before they appear. They are illustrations, not photographs of specific dishes, people, or results.

Veramir is currently free while in development. We plan to introduce paid subscriptions; when we do, prices and terms will be shown clearly before you pay anything, and these terms will be updated. Nothing you've already entered will ever be held hostage — export and deletion stay free, always.

Veramir's software, design, and content are ours or our licensors'. Your entries and your data are yours — we claim no ownership of them, and we use them only to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Veramir is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on information in the app; and our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or CAD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, which erases your data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; where reasonable, we'll warn you first so you can export your data.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction, except where the law of your place of residence gives you additional rights.
