Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 21, 2026

The short version

We collect health information only from you, and only so Veramir can show you your own patterns and shape itself around your needs.

We share none of it. We sell none of it. The most sensitive of it is encrypted on your device before it reaches us, so we cannot read it even if we wanted to.

What we collect, and why

Everything below is entered by you, and none of it is required — Veramir works with as much or as little as you choose to give it. We collect it for one purpose: to show you your own patterns over time, to shape recipes and suggestions around what your body can manage, and to build the reports you choose to share with your medical team or your family.

  • Where it hurts and how much
  • Symptoms you log, including anything you write in your own words
  • Energy and posture, mood, and how you slept
  • How much the day took out of you
  • Menstrual cycle dates and flow, and hot flashes
  • Medications you record — names, doses, frequency and side effects
  • What you ate and how your body responded
  • Conditions you tell us you live with
  • Foods you avoid, allergies, and dietary needs
  • Physical and cognitive abilities you choose to share, and whether pregnancy mode is on
  • Questions you write down for your medical team
  • Whether you were out in notably hot or cold weather

We do not use this information to advertise to you, to build a profile of you for anyone else, or to make automated decisions about you.

Where it comes from

Only from you, entered directly into Veramir. We do not buy health information, receive it from data brokers, infer it from your browsing, or collect it from any other source.

What we share

Nothing. We share no consumer health data with any third party, and we do not sell it — not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to researchers, not to anyone.

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf so the app can run — hosting, sign-in, error monitoring — under contract and only on our instructions. They are named in our Privacy Policy. Your most sensitive entries reach them as ciphertext they cannot read.

Who we share it with

No third parties. No affiliates. There is no list to publish here, and we would rather say that plainly than pad it.

Your rights, and how to use them

Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can:

  • Confirm and see what we hold. Settings → Download my data returns everything on your account, including a list of the service providers who process it. Nothing is withheld.
  • Withdraw your consent. Settings → Withdraw health-data consent. We stop collecting new health information from that moment, and we tell you what happens to what already exists.
  • Delete. Settings → Delete my account erases your account and your data immediately and irreversibly. You can also email hello@veramir.app and we will do it for you.

Or email hello@veramir.app and a person will do it for you. We answer well inside 45 days — usually the same week. If we ever decline a request we will tell you why, in writing, and you can appeal by replying to us.

Why this page exists

Washington State's My Health My Data Act requires a policy like this one, in its own place, for anyone who holds health information about people there. We wrote it for everyone, because the answers do not change depending on where you live.
